Santa Claus is played by our beloved Chester Davis. Chester is a jolly ol' soul who has been helping The Believe Project bring smiles to children since its founding. Chester also plays the Ghost of Christmas Present at 'Christmas in July,' our flagship fundraiser, where guests are whisked away to the Charles Dicken's classic, "A Christmas Carol." Chester writes, "I believe in promoting the positive image of Santa in fostering the spirit of Christmas and the love of children. I am Santa 24/7 in season, or during the year in Santa regalia or whenever a believer perceives me to be Santa Claus. As a Real Bearded Santa I have the honor of sharing the Santa experience with adults and of course the children all year long. I always have a great time doing even little things where people can see me and enjoy the Santa experience. People ask me, How long have I been Santa? If I told them, all my life; they would never believe me. For it takes more than putting on the red suit. It's the heart you put inside. I do Santa type things all the time. You too can do "Santa" type things. It keeps Christmas in your heart every day.
